24-26 oct 2007 (Asia Outdoor Advertising)
these 3 days, a total of about 23 of us,temasek poly students were at suntec, helping out with the AOA event, which is asia outdoor advertising event, which brings tgt the advertising ads by the major advertising firms.. we were there to help with the ushering of VIPs,Speakers,delegates,guests etc into the exhibition hall, conference room and luncheon.. likewise, we will help the visitors with the apllication form segment and provide information of where the exhibition is held.. we also went to view the booth about the various companies, ask certain qns with regards to what the companies is mainly involved with, get brochures n namecard(s)... in addition, we listen to a talk about marketing by a speaker from the marketing institute of singapore.. from the talk, we were about to know a little more about marketing n can help add on to what we had learned in school.. on the 2nd day of the AOA, at night, while i was on my way home, dallas msg mi.. he told me tt dey r actuali lying to joelle,shawn n haoming tt it was my twin sis who was workin n tt i wasnt dere. jux as i finish readin the msg,he called mi n the phone was passed to several pple n dey asked was it mi or my sis tt was dere..n .,.. i said was my sis n nt mi.. hahhaah.. i was havin a super hard time controllin my laughter so tt the lie can continue on.. hahah... it was so funi..
on the last day, when went to the AOA n havin break, they asked qns n when joelle saw mi, she was lik, "dun cum near mi,so scary.." hahaha.. they asked qns n qns n i jux ans as per normal so tt wun "lu chu ma jiao"... it was lik so fun n all of us act till sooo gd tt evrything we said was not being suspicious tt it was after all a lie.. after the award ceremony, the organiser let us party with the other guests as there was a gala dinner... we had alot of fun(dance,drink n took pictures..) we even form a semi circle in front of the stage when they are about to giv out the award for the supporters n TP is one of them.. when TP was mentioned, we shouted "TP marketing, cheers!"
in conclusion, the whole AOA event went well, n we, did gain some experience n also have fun... enjoyed alot! thankx to the organising team for havin a part to play in this event... thanks alot!! ",)

todae marks the end of my 2.1 semester break.. time flies real fast.. it seems lik ytd.. haha.. am i over exaggerating?? mayb yes mayb no.. perhaps it might be due to the numerous thing happening.. during this holi, i went to hong kong for my study trip, gain new knowledge and able to understand beta the marketing activities of hongkong. it was indeed a rare chance as i was able to see thing or get to know things than as a normal tourist will nt b able to know.. hmm..
i feel priviledge to be able to go for this study trip even thou its jux a mere 5 days n how i wish the trip can be longer.. after my study trip, 3 daes ltr, i went campin.. it was lik an advanced experience leadership training camp(if i was not wrong wat the E represent). the first nite was at sch n the 2nd dae mornin, we went to hantu.. the island was reali beautiful.. it was a choice that i wun regret makin as i was on the verged of givin up this opportunity to go for this camp due to my tiredness.. we hav games there,learn to do cookin using gas canister and start live fire to cook our food.. it was a fun n exciting experience that is rare to come by.. reali appreciate this chance.. soon, the camp came to an end and we left pulau hantu island on fri afternoon.. was veri tirin but i enhance my knowledge n learn new skills.. this thus marks the end of the holidaes and tmr will be the start of a new semester.. wish every one a gd start for the semester and may all things go well.. the memories, skills and experiences shall stay...

oct 16-19i was home from pulau hantu camp.. it lasted from oct tues to fri.. i can say that the camp was indeed a success and it provided mi with mani new experiences. the first nioght was at school as we hav to purchased teh necessary items that we needed for the fcamp at hantu such as food. even though i was not with the team to purchase the items due to me havin 2 work,i was not left out despite joinin them at 5plus instead of at 2pm. they are a great bunch of pple and bring mi into the fun of theirs. we played games on the first night like bang, number n time games including one game silly sally.. it was fun n few games, i was still in suspense till now.. hahah.. y?? is bcux i dunno how they guess it.. the second day, after breakfast, we get all our stuffs including the items tt we packed ready 2 b brought along wif us to pulau hantu n headed to the shutterbus n off we were to west coast pier to board the bumper boat tt will ferry us to our destinatio "Pulau Hantu." at there, we had a little tour arnd and cooked our beri 1st lunch usin canister, indian pot n metal tins.. haah.. it was a whole brand new kind of cookin despite perhaps havin done in when young but the feelin in diff as we r actuali doin it all by our own. we played games after tt n pitch our tents. we helped one another.. including cookin of the meals. we had a night walk.. the special thing is tt, we will be walkin along at the interval of 2mins n not touch light was allowed. it is a challenge for ourself to complete the walk. i was initialli scared but after the walk, i feel tt it was nt as scary as how i felt it will b.the third day of camp, we had warm up den breakfast n games.the games we played consist of octopus, electrical fence,frisbe and ect.. the most exciting and memorable thing for me for today was actuali the startin of live fire. we did not did our cookin usin the gas canister but in fact, learn how to start live fire n cook our food with it.. we took quite a while but was a success.. veri hapi.. after tt, we had a skit performance at night.. we did impromptu acting.. i can proudly say tt all went well for the skit.. it was funny but liven up everyone... hahhaha... the night ended late.time passed real fast... we have come to the last day of the camp.. as usual, warm up den breakfast.. but today, we had a game " olympic".. it comprise of one station whereby one require us to run to almost the middle of the lagoon to get a bandana to tie arnd our head n run back.. we can walk across the lagoon as the tide was extremely low.. it was veri fun n the water was clear.. there is anothe station which requires us to search for 30 clues within the boundary but the alphabets are all jumble up.. it was located at diff position within a certain boundary. we oli manage to find 25 of it n the remaining words were reveal to us. we were then given some time to figure out the word.. we did not guez it right.. but its was the process that will stay with us..in conclusion, the camp was worth gg n it was lucky of mi t to forgo it.. .i reali enjoyed myself in this camp, made new frenz n also gain new experiences... thank for all the effort n knowledge given to mi by elf n ac...

our first day at HongKong.. we arrived at around 10plus in the morning.. our tour guide, Richard was already at the airport waiting for us.. he is an excellent tour guide,introducing HongKong to us.. we had lunch at a restaurant.. then head to a Harbour City shopping centre to shop.. we pass by HongKong hotel b4 we stand infront of the shoppin centre. it was indeed a high end shoppin centre and oso veri gigantic.. but was a great experience.. we then head to hongkong tourism board to listen to a short presentation by the staff there.. den we had dinner n head back to hotel.. by then, it was lik 7plus at night already.. after puttin our luggage in our hotel room, a grp of us went to the shoppin centre near our hotel n shop.. its been a tiring day..

this is our 2nd day at Hong Kong.. we went to the HongKong Polytechnic University in the morning n listen to a presentation. we get to know more about the tourism course tt they are offerin dere and had a tour in their tourism restaurant where students are havin their training.. we had s short tour in their kitchen as well.. after tt, we went to Disneyland.. we listened to a presentation by their marketing director.. it was reali knowledgeable to know how they had market Disneyland.. we den tour around Disneyland n oso had some time to shop around on our own. .we had two rides.. we had our dinner at Disneyland. .den watch the Holloween performance n oso the fireworks.. the fireworks were simply fabulous.. it cant be seen in Singapore.. den we head back to hotel.. it was lik 9plus already.. but... fun is still going on in hotel rooms...hhahahah.. .

this is the 3rd day of our trip le.. we were at Ocean Paek in the mornin.. had a presentation by the marketin executive ifrst.. den we went into one of the haunted house specialli designed for the halloween period. we went in twice, once with the lights off n the 2nd with lights on to see how everything is been set.. we even took photos inside.. hahaha..we r reali lucki cux no one ever took photos inside.. we den had few hours of free time.. we we watched the dolphin show but some how its a disappointment to bwe cux its beyond wat i expected. we den played roller coaster, abyss,eagle.. its fun but oso a little disappointin cux the rides are all veri fast.. expect it to be longer.. we left there at 5plus n head to the ladies night market..at there shop a while, then i left the group,inform Mrs Wu tt i will be mitin my aunt n my relatives.. i mus reali than keith for accompanyin mi to look for my aunt n mit them..
once mit up with 2 of my aunts, we took the MTR n go to another place to mit up with my brother,my godma n my grandaunt n relatives.. den went to a restaurant to have dinner n oso catch up with one another.. its been 4.5 years since we last m et in HongKong.. we chat till late lik 10plus.. den my relatives sent mi back to the hotel. .they walk mi up to my room level at the 19th storey...they are reali beri thoughtful.. as a result, they had to call cab in order to get back to their home.. i m reali gladful n appreciate all that they had done, even resultin in havin to tak cab home... enjoyed myself a lot.. once again, THANKS a million times.. hope to mit up with them soon...

the 5 days at Hong Kong flies real fast.. with a winked, we had come to the last day of our trip.. despute the short, mere 5 days, we had great fun n built a closer friendship with one another.. its been an eye-opener trip for miie.. been to places tt i had nv been b4 the last time i went to HongKong which was lik 4.5 years ago.. missed the place n indeed it had changed a lot.. the memories wil be there.. thanks for the fun n memorable memories tt had been engraved in mii... :)

2dae i was supposed to go for drivin.. but i cancel it becux of my eyes..
the story goes like this...................
my left eye was feelin a little of pain for the past few days but i dint not think tt it will be the so called " gan jiu zham" (cantonese way pf saying). it was only during the chalet 2nd night, the pain on the left eye increases. and bcux i also did not slp the ebtire night bcux i din want to cum played mahjong with frenz, the eyelid started to swell a little.. after heading home in hte mornin at 7plus, i took a short nap n went to see doc. the doc help mi to poke the small dot on the eyelid to release the little pulse inside. he prescribed mi with anti-biotic n oso painkiller.. i din hav any allergy to medicine, but upon takin it, my right eye start ti feel itchy n swell after 3 hrs plus. it was initially a small swell which i thot night b due to dust enterin my eyes.. but den the swell bcame more n more serious. i den went ot see doc again n the doc gave me a jab to prevent the swell from becumin worst and said tt it was becux of the medicine i took. i m allergy to the medicine tt i took. it was medicine which i did not take b4 thus its neither the fault of mi nor the doc.. no one expected for this to happen.. hopefuli the swell on my right eye can heal by tmr or sat... for i will be flyin off in the very early mornin.... i m so sad.. n with the eye like tt, it is veri xin ku.,.. haix... feel lik cryin man... make the doin of things veri inconvenient and tough... :-(

the chalet for 1b10 was rather a success except for some little changes made..its my first time organising for a class chalet. even though we are in yr 2 now, this chalet os organise to help keep us bonded despite us being in a different class.. we had our chalet at aloha loyang.. its fun and all..
